Spring Summer 25 - ‘Home Sweet Home’ - a celebration of the soulful of home.
Echoes of belonging, the pull of distant memories, and a secure sense of self—Ahluwalia’s SS25 collection serves as an homage to the profound ties that bind us to our roots. Inspired by the stories of those who have traversed continents, the collection reflects on the emotional landscapes of migration, the lingering call of ancestral homes, and the delicate balance between past and present. Through this exploration, the designer reimagines the concept of home, intertwining personal history with artistic expression to create a collection that resonates with one’s deepest longings.

Autumn Winter 24 – Reveries A collective journey of recalled wonder
Feelings of mysticism, memories of fables and realms of mythology– Reveries is dedicated to the trading of wisdom found in the old Indian and Nigeria folklore and fairytales that Creative Director Priya Ahluwalia heard in her formative years and in turn, how explorative storytelling of the past encouraged her modern reinterpretation.

Acknowledgements
For Ahluwalia’s Spring Summer 24 collection, entitled Acknowledgements, Creative Director and founder Priya Ahluwalia’s research led her on a journey of creative rediscovery. Delving into the history books across music, film, art, fashion and social justice, Ahluwalia unearthed the works of makers, doers and thinkers whose names are harder to find credited and whose achievements are lesser known, particularly artists and creatives of colour whose cultural erasure is all too common.
Illusion knitwear and tonal jacquard techniques challenge the observer to look closer, to see things you may have at first missed.

Symphony
For Ahluwalia’s Autumn Winter 23 collection, the genesis starts with sound. Entitled Symphony, Creative Director and Founder Priya Ahluwalia rediscovered the music of her youth– the Bollywood soundtracks and the mainstream Hip-Hop that littered the airwaves in the 90s and 00s as Priya came of age to the bashment and house music she enjoyed at parties in her teens and more recently the afrobeat and neo-wave R&B she listens to in her everyday life.

Africa Is Limitless
At the heart of SS23, are the boundless and enduring marks of the African people and their cultures. The research process led by Creative Director Priya Ahluwalia saw the creation of a vast visual tapestry in the studio, inspired by everything from vintage museum blankets from Tunisia, to technicolour Sapeurs, album covers from Cote d'Ivoire and beaded elements from Kenyan and Rwandan cultures. With 'Africa Is Limitless', Ahluwalia celebrates the nations of Africa’s many individual stories as a testament that all Africans know it to be: a vast wonderland of cultural innovation, rich in stories and histories that have waited too long to be told authentically. These stories will wait no longer.

"Working with the GANNI archive has been really interesting, delving into it and reimagining it through an Ahluwalia lens. All pieces are made from pre-existing garments and deadstock materials, making each item unique, a collectible made to be worn and lived in. Working with an all-denim collection has also been a great challenge, really amplifying the power of using one universal material - which was also a first for me. Denim is so interesting, as people from all walks of life wear it. We wanted to underline that versatility throughout the campaign and collection.”
