Influenced by her Indian and Nigerian heritage, Priya Ahluwalia’s research trips to Panipat, India, and Lagos, Nigeria, exposed the vast impact of fashion waste. These experiences shaped both her designs and Sweet Lassi, a photography book highlighting the realities of overconsumption. SS19 is a statement on waste and renewal, offering a bold vision for conscious design.
