“Looking at people that have been overlooked in history means that you're looking at things in a new way and with a fresh perspective. So I wanted to take the concept of different perspectives into the clothing. We use a technique called 'illusion knit', which means that when you look at the knit pieces from one side, it changes to the negative colour of when you look at it from the other side. So it's kind of like an illusion.”
